Looking to the East

The clients had a vision: they wanted a place of serenity and retreat. ReConstructions Inc. fulfilled this dream by expanding over a flat roof deck outside the window of their master bedroom suite. All of the finish detailing had its roots in the traditional art and architecture of Japan. The addition was a post and beam structure and each feature echoed natural materials that were simply rendered and meticulously crafted. The result: a contemplative space perfectly attuned to the client.
